Trying to find a schematic for a SONY DVP NS305 power supply PEC. Recently had the IC101 Transistor(MIP2E3DMY) taken out by lightning damage. Replaced but still no power. Any thoughts or suggestions welcome.
HI ALL, i have a similar problem same machine model, i have changed the MIP2E3DMY IC but it wont power up. does any one has some idea or experience with this or a schematic please. nath.
It seems this is a common weak point on this model. I have the same SONY NS305 and after last weeks severe lighting the DVD player fried. When I opened the box you can see a burnt mark around MIP2E3DMYand the one leg is damaged. I am getting a new IC but from what I read in the Forum this will not fix it. If Anyone come across the next step, could you please put it on the forum . Thanks.
I know this thread is a little old but was there an outcome here. I have the same problem here after replacing this IC. Is there something else I could try before throwing in the bin. Thanks
