LCD white shadows??? Can't Post

I have a 24" LCD that is kinda buggy. On a black background white things (mouse arrow, icons etc.) have a shadow running from the object to the right. It goes all the way accost. I was wondering if anyone on here had this issue and was able to fix it.
Technical Details

1920 x 1200 maximum resolution
Analog RGB and Digital DVI-D inputs, built-in stereo speakers
178-degree horizontal and vertical viewing angles
400 cd m2 brightness, 800:1 Contrast Ratio
