1) Pick something that's in your price range (has this Brand been around very long? - will they still be around next year?); 2) Spend only what you would to be happy to say "I got my money's worth," presuming that they will fail sometime between 3 to 7 years after purchase; 3) If you obtain an extended warranty, make sure the warranty repair company will still be around when you require them.
