Oval in screen	Can't Post

New Vizio - 42 inch LCD.
When changing channels there is a brief period of 'black'. During this time there is an irregular oval of lighter gray in the center of the screen / darker gray around the edge. Each is about half the screen area. Is this normal?

Hey Dan,
Thanks for any help. At this point just plugged in shielded cable from Time Warner Cable - no cable box or HD converter attached. Could that be the problem? I called tech support and they said to try the zoom - if I understood the English correctly. Wasn't home but when I came home and tried the problem was still there - not surprised.
