Samsung ME55B Issues	Can't Post

I have picked up a Samsung 55" ME55B LCD television from a job, the TV functions just fine except for the following:

Top right - darker area.
Horizontal line through the entire screen.
Picture link attached - no account required.

My question is; is it worth fixing - and any ideas what it could be.

Unfortunately I cannot find a diagnostic option in the menu.

Oh, lucky you.
Both of those defects will be cured with the replacement of the panel.
However the cost of a new panel, provided you can locate one, will likely exceed what the TV cost when first purchased.

Thanks for the reply..

So the issue is with the actual display / screen? I was hoping it would be a part on the inside that I could grab off eBay and swap myself...

Oh well; Nothing lost - nothing gained!

I will give it away to someone as is..

I still say: Scruff up the screen surface and paint something abstract. Who knows, once you're gone it could net your estate a chunk of change, Wink
