Am complete newby who needs your advice. Found a demo Sony 70" lcd that still has 1.5 yr warranty. I can buy it for just under $12K. (Note: it has a small mark on the bottom section of the screen, but depending on what's showing on the screen, I don't see it.) Is this a good value? I love the idea of a 70" but wonder if this price is a deal or not. Original price was $32K-ish. Thanks very much!

It's a price deal, however don't think of it the 1.5 year warranty is better advantage cause it will be charged extra to you.......don't forget that. The small mark on the screen. im pretty sure done by installers and it happens on the protective layer of the screen. it didn't happen from inside or internally damaged or else it will show whatever is showing on the screen. Under 12k You have nothing to loose while it's in good condition with the scratch. trust me. LCD'S LAST LONGER soon you will get tired of it and want another.
