Unable to scan for digital channels without going into service mode.
Anyone had similar problems. Could it be the eprom?

try going into the service mode and then do a reset
press st/by, info, menu, mute, st/by this gives you acess to the service menu,
but be careful about what you adjust

Hi Leonard.
I've had similar problems with Samsung digital sets. I've found you've got to have the right remote and start scan from digital tv menu button.
I went into tv service mode like you suggested, reset and the set scanned automatically.
