samsung backlight issue

my lnt4042 has a weird backlight issue. it turns on but no screen so ive replaced the main board, inverter, and power board...still nothing so i was fiddling around and i happen to disconnect one of the wires to the main board to the power board and plug it back in and the screen light up. everything works fine i can turn it off and on no problem until i leave it off for more than 10 min im back to having to unplug that wire and plug it back in. could this be a cap problem. ive tried 2 power boards and swapped inverter boards also. im at a loss
