first how old is your tv and do you hear any weird sounds coming out off the tv it could be your lamp, ballast or power supply it dependence when did this problem start what happen
well since your tv is a LCD you don't have to worry about the lamp what your problem is either with your power supply or the voltage inverters either the left one or the right one, there's is a powers leak in your set that's why you might be able to see the screen for a split second you should take a look at those boards to see if there is any damage on them I would take a look at the power supply first
