anyone know if the JVC GM V42UG - 42" plasma panel is compatible with and xbox 360 and if it is anyone know how to connect it?

yes, and you have to get the converter cable (optional cable) from your xbox that goes to the component input of the plasma.

ok since i got the hd to work and everything on it i was wondering if there is anyway i can hook up standard cable t.v. to it because it doesn't have the cable plug on the t.v.

JVC GMV-42UG is a professional stand alone monitor. Tuner doesn't contain in this model therefore coxial input is not present. Your next step would be to have a component selector. But you must have a HD receiver to input your cable.
