Plasma Snow Can't Post

I have an LG 50" Plasma, about 4 years old and my signal is from Direct TV. I get intermittent snow on a small portion of the screen. The snow comes in surges and it appears whethr the signal is from Direct TV or watching a DVD. Direct Tv told me it could be a faulty access card which I'm replacing next week. Any other suggestions? Thanks.

Unfortunately it sounds like you're experiencing sparkles. There are some temporary fixes such as tweaking Vset and Vramp voltages but the problem will come back. You've got a bad PDP panel.
