HITACHI 43FDX01B DISPLAY Can't Post

HELLO
In Feb I replaced my stk-392 IC's on my Hitachi projection tv and had a beautiful picture. Now, every once in awhile I am getting multicolor lines running vertically that fill the whole screen. When this happens, I turn the tv off and on. This clears the problem. The picture is still good. The sound is good. Any suggestions ? Thanks in advance for reply.

depends on where you bought the STK`s, the chinese crap doesn`t hold up very long, I would re-check your solder connections on the stk`s and look for burnt/dis-colored resistor(s) near and around the stk`s, you may have missed one initially and it has damaged the new stk`s. Be sure you purchase original stk`s NOT the knock-off replacements or your just wasting your time, good luck, Larry E

I bought the IC's on e-bay but they were oem for the tv. Well, they were supposed to be. I will check the solder joints and surrounding resistors. Thanks for the quick reply.
