Mitsubishi picture problems Can't Post

I have a Mitsubishi WT-46805 rear projection tv. I turned it on the other day and I get audio but no picture. When I press "menu" on the remote, I get the screen shown in the picture. The tubes look out of alignment so I tried to align it but it wouldn't align at all. I have no idea what is wrong with it now.

I have included a picture of what the screen looks like.

Double check the model number. You have a convergence circuit problem.

I've doubled checked and that is the correct model number. It was a Mitsubishi 1080HD series. I hope that helps.

How would I go about fixing this? Do I need to replace a couple of IC's ? If so, how can I find the right ones?

do not listen to the magnet guy, crt based rear-projection television do not get damaged by magnets or speakers . you have a convergence problem plain and simple, if you've tried adjusting anything mechanical in the set you wnat them back were they started, 1st off, the problem is electrical, this starts almost always with a loose(ring cracked ) solder connection and the ic's eventually give out either from stress or time . if it is still coming and going(good some days bad others) you may be able to solder the 36 connections on the bottom of the 2 convergence amp ic's(the largest ic's in the set connected to the big metal finned heat sinks) be very careful or have a professional solder them. replaceing them is the safe bet(stk 392-570) very rarely do i have resistor issues in mitsubishi but it has been a while for this model, take a look in front of the ic's at the resistors chains and see if any are discolored seriously and this may need checked and replacedd. this is a very common problem. . if you cannot unsolder and apply heat sink compound and resolder without damaging the pcb and get humpty dumpty back together, i would call a repair man.
:)magnets??
good luck
