Mitsubishi vs-6043

I have a mitsubishi vs-6043 that was given to me just a few days ago and i got it free b/c it doesnt turn on. They told me they where watching tv and then all of the sudden it click off and they could never get it back on.
What happens is i hit the power button the green light clicks on for a few seconds then clicks off, i can hear the click in side from the back. and thats all that happens. I know this been posted before and ive been reading around but i cannot seem to get it fixed any help that anyone can provide.
