Philips 60P8341	Can't Post

TV works good for a while then turns off. Turn TV back on it will shut down again. When it is cold it will stay on longer.

Any idea what component or board is going bad?

there are a few ways to help a servicer diagnose a shutdown event such as yours. Without making you count blink sequences, we should be able to display on screen. this model contains an error buffer that stores the 7 most recent errors. these are very general errors but can stear one in the right direction.If your up for a challenge here go.

turn unit on. with remote control press 0 6 2 5 9 6 MENU . it should display SDM in the right corner with other #'s and such.

the info i would need is the seven #'s to the right of the ERR and i will gladly help if i can. after recording the numbers press the power button turn unit off.

entering the service mode is a delicate procedure, so do not press anything in this mode until you press power.

I tried entering the code you gave me.
The only thing that came up on the screen was SDM in the lower right corner.
Right now I cannot get the TV to turn back on.
Any ideas
