I am a tech in MA. I hate Philips products, so it doesn't help repairing them.
I have this set that if pluged in a normal outlet the power supply squeals goes into shut down. If I use a variac and turn up the Ac to 150 the set comes on with some pulling on the sides. I know (or think) it's a regulator problem but which one? Cold or hot side. Anyone have any tricks to troubleshoot these?
