Pioneer SD-P4053 Problem

I picked up an old (1991) Pioneer SD-P4053 at a garage sale for $15. Cosmetically it is very good, but the picture has a problem. The picture is dsitinctively lacking blues. I have adjusted the screen controls so each tube is just below the retrace being visible with the contrast/brightness at midpoint. If I turn the blue screen up the blacks become blue and retrace line is visible.
Does anyone have any suggestions?
Does this chassis have a blue drive pot?
Should I swallow the $15 and junk it?
