Question please help Can't Post

Im buying a new tv here pretty soon. Im planning on getting the Samsung DLP 50" HDTV 1080p. I dont know much of anything about tvs to be honest all i know is ps3 is coming out and i want it to look the best it can while playing ps3 and good at playing movies and such. Is the 1080p worth the extra cash and is DLP fine for running video games alot? Thanks in advance

This is more of a tech forum on how to fix sets not sell them, But a 1080i pix will knock your socks off but Like with all DLP's, LCD's and such that take a lamp We sugest to get the extended Warrenty for this because one lamp change will sit you back atleast 350.00. And If your primary use will be for gaming the set will be one a lot and burning up a lamp about every 18 months or so
