Chirping sound,it seems like a shorted in horiz/power supply.First check horizontal transistor or a shorted component.If you aren't a tech,look for a repairman in your area.

Horizontal Output is ok, and I have not found any shorted components. Do you know if certain components commonly fail like the flyback, HV splitter or any other components. I am a TV tech but don't have a SM and the set is in a customers home.
