RCA P46159WK	Can't Post

I have an rca P46159WK/CTC169BTA rear projection tv and when the fuse blew
i replaced it. As soon as i plugged the cord into the wall the fuse blew. It worked
fine before, no problems at all. Can somebody tell me what to look for/where to
start or should i buy one of those power supply kits.

If main fuse blown usually something in B+regulator power supply shorted.Need to check rectifier diodes,chopper transistor,reg i.c.,etc.Prob. a good idea to get ptk169 reg kit.If reg circuit has never been serviced it probably needs it.

Thanks for the info. I got the ptk169 kit and that took care of problem.
Set works finre now.
