RCA P52731WK help	Can't Post

I have an RCA P52731wk rear projection tv. The screen is scrambled and has diagonal lines running across the screen. HELP

can be more specific.i.e. on-screen display is defective also. all inputs, tuner ok or not. what does scrambled mean??? anything else would be helpfull

the menu comes in fine. the picture looks like a scrambled adult channel. You can make bits and pieces out of it but there are diagonal lines running through the screen. I have phoenix gold RCA lines running from DVD/VCR to TV

is that the only source hooked up to it? if so double check your not going from greeen to yellow or something you may need to change a setting in the combo unit. can you hook an antenna up to the screw connection in the back and autoprogram local channels in?it sound out of sync like your sending a progressive scan video into an interlacing input.did you just acquire the set or did it just stop orking one day?

I've had the unit for about 6 months now and it has been working fine until last week. I have been having problems with my DVD/VCR lately too. I might change it out and see if that helps

go to your antenna input and if the snow looks like snow and not garbeld its prob. the dvd/vcr combo.

I bypassed my DVD / VCR combo and plugged antenna directly into tv - still same issues

did anyone get into the service mode or factory convergence before this happened? if the horizontal phase or some odd service adjustent got tweeked this could be the issue, if not i got nothing in this case

i checked the convergence - it is ok. the plus mark is lined up perfectly

yes but there are other service mode options other than convergence i just wander if the service mode was ever entereed using buttons on the front???
