RCA P52960 questions Can't Post
My brother recently was given a working RCA P52960 tv.

The only problems, and the reason the owners gave it away, are the horizontal and vertical pincushion are both off and it seems to have blooming. What I mean by blooming is the channel number is mostly offscreen.

Any idea how to correct these situations? Are they adjustments or replacement items?

What chassis ? CTC169 ? CTC178 ? or CTC195 ? Your problem sounds like a convergence fault. Chassis may start with PTK.

Sound like you got the same problem as the other gut so I'll just paste that

Thats the 195, these converance boards in these sets were perty reliable, but the power supply causes several problems it sits ubove and on the right. when this fails convergance goes best to test this first. theres a Ic on there Think its a STK730--something that fails, or replace the entire board (239124) for about $65.00 from vancebaldwin.com
