I have an RCA 61" HD projection TV that is dead; it will not power on. I am seeking assistance in troubleshooting and ultimate repair of this set.
I have experience with computer electronics and have repaired the horizontal output and replaced caps on a different model RCA TV.
I haven't done anything with this set yet, except to note that the caps C14113, C14115 in +5volt power supply to DM1 module are blue and gold in color and not the "bad" brown ones that I have read about.
I would appreciate it if you could "hold my hand" and step me through diagnosing this set. I consider myself fairly competent, although my test equipment is limited to a VOM. Thanks in advance for any assistance.
