Most problems with this set are from a componet failing and not much can be done in the service menu to fix that, however they do have a problem with a 25 pin conector that is bad, but we'll get to that later, service menus can be had by turning set off then hold both the chanel down and volume down on the front of the set, push them in at the same time and hold them till set turns on, scroll down to event history and hit enter if the set has a code 33 it's the pin conector it will have other error codes as well write these down the reset the error codes by folling the instructions in reset error codes, next leave this screen and return to the service menu and scroll to the convergance, This could get detailed but evrey thing you have to do is in the menus and the set tells you what to do, best bet would to leave the first two convercance screens alone and go straight to the third and do the level 3 (15X13) Ohh and by the way tis can olny be done with the orginal RCA remote
