Toshiba lamp compatability Can't Post

Hi, does anyone know where I can cross reference lamp part numbers for this Tosh set (42pw23p). TV repair guy says center lamp has gone, and will fix it if I find a donor set. New lamp is costly, will second user lamp be worth a go? Any info greatly appreciated, thanks

well, Ill not recommend you for a second user lamp. Try to buy a new original one with guaranteed life.

The lamp is of course an important part of projection sets. Try to keep an extra lamp with you because lamps have to replace on occasions and by following the manual guide rules, you can extend your Lamp life too. Try this

There are many models compatible to Toshiba. just need a little search. As for as the cost is concerned then i think it doesn't take that much part as lamps have to replace after some time spans. If the second user Lamp is worth for you and you think it good then go for that otherwise get a new one. You can get it on cheaper rates too.

Try to take out the lamp and reseat it…it just might have a bad connection or the sensor on the lamp.Is the TV set somewhere very dusty or somewhere not very well ventilated?
If you still want to buy a new lamp then try discount merchant. I use to buy products from there and have found it very cool.
Good Luck!

well lamps are costly products I will not suggest to go for a second user lamp. Can you give the guarantee for that?

Its better to go for a new Replacement Lamp.

To fix the lamp, try this intuitive Guide.

cheers
