covergence prob	Can't Post

hi a help i have alg re-40nz60rb that i got from a friend it was working fine at his home and when we transported to mine and turned it on their was a blue like ghosting round every thing and when we tryed to line up the colours the blue would not move anywere now i have read through the forum and tryed to see if it was a lose conetion but everything is ok so do you think it is the ics or a dry joint help as iam stuck with no tv as my other 1 that i have as dyed so could someone please help as watching the tv is better than having to lisen to the wife Wink

when you say "but everything is ok"when talking about the connections. does that mean you have looked at the pins on the convergence amp ic's and surrounding areas with a good light and upclose? and know what a ring crack looks like? they can be tricky if your not carefull
its probl. the ic's at least. moving older large tv's can be the camel that breaks the straws back...........

yes i have look at it with a magnfing glass and i do know what a dry joint is as i have work in a factory on pcbs before my acident just did not want to spend money that i could not aford and it not work so do you think it is the sk 392-120 then and thanks for the reply
