tried that from my dauthers cable still same thing. oh and i forgot to mention when playing a movie it,s still snowy.

perhaps your new Chinese import DVD is faulty. have you tried it on a different tv?are you sure you mean snowy pic as snow usually only manifests itself on RF input not A/V
