tv powers on fine but pic is negative image

however on screen menu graphics are perfectly fine?

the picture is solarized. check the ribbon connectors from the control board to the screen first.otherwise change the control/processor board though I am not sure if parts are available for that make.

thank you...someone else told me the same thing....what actually causes the solarized regarding the cable connections??

what does the control board look like.....how many are there??

and can it be removed without taking the whole tv apart......

poor connections or solder joints on the cable ends, the board directly connected to the screen not the one round the edges, and yes the tv has to be dismantled.

any ideas on my tv problem with solarized video on on all inputs and on screen menu and polaroid startup logo graphics are perfectly fine??
