1982 quasar tv

I have an 1982 quasar PR466uk tv. The horizontal red line was off a little at the bottom so i took the back of the tv off to look for an adjustment. I ended up tweaking all the adjustments on the panel. Now the picture is all distorted and i cant figure out how to get it set again. Is there a patern i need to do or a setting i have to get to first before i can get everything lined up again? I can put on the test page and make the lines line up but when i put on a picture something will be out of line. I dont know where everything has to be set first before lineing it all up. Anybody have any suggestions?
