mel, I dont have a schematic on this, But I changed the hot-transistor. No luck! Have set on 100 w light bulb. I get raster no sound. Light bulb is dim and steady.I found d751 by the Ic 702, seems bad. Could I be in the right area? Thanks again.

If you have raster, the problem is not in the high voltage circuit but probably in the secondary power supply. I don't have a schematic for that specific model but if the suspect diode supplies B+ to the video/audio section, it is probably the culprit. You can always go to www.samswebsite.com and download the schematic for that set.

Hi tech`s. I do this partime only, But I have 25 years in it.Tv repair is my future. Not hooked with sams yet. But will be in the near future. Thanks Mell, for your time.I can get my schematics thru. A dealer nearby. He rents them to me. But with the price of gas, seems like sams will be my best option. May your repairs be many.Cool
