i have a 27 inch jvc about 10 years old it has a straight line a cross the screen top and bottoms are black is this the picture tube?worth fixing?easy to fix?thanks chris

You don't give a model #, but I just repaired one and it was the vertical I.C. and a 100mfd capacitor.
