I have a samsung plasma tv, model #:ppm42m6hb that's about 2 years old. I hit the power on button and it will come on for a minute then the screen goes blank but the power relay doesn't kick off. After a couple of seconds the screen comes back on for a couple of seconds then back off. I checked fuses and no visual signs of blown caps. The Va and Vs voltages check out. I have a feeling its a cap because of the cycling but not 100% sure. Any help out there?
Go into your service menu and pull up your Logic Board test patterns. Leave it on a solid color and see if the picture ever goes out. If it doesn't, you have a main board issue. If it does, something is turning your panel on and off. Could be all sorts of things. Let me know what happens and good luck to you.
