Busted Toshiba 47"

Hi,
I recently picked up a used Toshiba 47" Tv, I can't recall the year but it is the first year that colorstream came out, so I think only 5-6 years old.
Problem:
I have it plugged in but when I hit the power button it just clicks on and the clicks off imeadiately, and leaving the little red power light blinking on and off.
I don't know anything about TV's so any help would be appreciated.
Could it be a fuse?
