You asked: What is a CTC169JA5? It is a chassis out of a 12 year old RCA G35830WK direct view TV. You stated: Your issue is that USA does not train engineers. I'm not an engineer. I am a factory worker with just enough electronics knowledge to get by. I am just trying to get this set up and running for the kids to play video games on. The TV tech said that it would cost $100.00 - $200.00 dollars to repair it. I thought that if I could check the voltages and replace a few components that I might be able to fix it at less cost. If I can't, I will take it to the TV tech. I replaced the following and it ran for about 30 days and then shut off. HOT Q4401: 2SD1885 C4402: 214754, .047ufd C4108: 208002, 39ufd/100v C4102: 2.2ufd/100v C4104: 189982, 15ufd/63v (replaced with 22ufd/100v) Zener diode CR4122 Sorry if I upset you!
