Daewoo 25 inch	Can't Post

I have a 25 inch Daewoo color TV set which has been good up until about a month . the color seem to be a little off and . I notice like if the TV goes from like a show to a commercial that black screen in between is kind of red instead of black . is that something that can be adjusted out in the inside of the set on the board?

have the screen degauss, see if that helps your problem

turn the colour down to see if the black and white picture is still tinted red. if it is you need to adjust the red drive in the service menu. it maybe caused by the crt going downhill.

Techchris,

when you say it may have to be set in the service menu are you talking about taing the cover off the back and setting it there? or on the front of the tv where I would turn the color down to see if there is still a red background?

there is a code to get in the service mode using the remote control. ask a local daewoo dealer for the code on your model. the colour is adjusted in the customer menu from the remote
