Dynex TV dead Can't Post

Hi, new to this forum and trying to fix my Dynex tv.I have two dynex TV's model DX-LDVD22-10A, that stopped
working after a power outage or surge during a thunder storm.
After reading on the internet about troubleshooting i ended up
taking the tv apart and looking at the power supply board, which
i found to have a carbon track that jumped across two terminals
on the side of the board where the power cord is plugged in, i
installed a new power supply board but my TV still does not work
can you help please. Thanks.

A brand NEW power supply board? Or a "new to you" power supply board - removed from service, 100% tested, etc.?

That, or you received a defective "pulled from service" board from SJ. It DOES happen, but SJ IS one of the more reputable providers. See if they have another you can try.

Also, any surge that can leave visible damage may have traveled past the power supply board. Unimpressed
