I am repairing my TV.

From the schematic I see many devices of FB, such as FB501, FB502, .......

What are the devices FB about? What are the functions and main parameters of them. Thanks!

FBs are ferrite beads whose purpose is to cut down or eliminate electromagnetic or radio interference by shielding the area around which they are located.

What are the principle of the FB to cut down the interference of radio wave? The FB is as small as a bead, does the protected area is surrounded by the surface of the bead? How does the electric current pass through the bead? Thanks!
