hi,
you may think this is a pointless post, but as i posted in an earlier topic about this tv, i've got the CRT sorted, the only thing thats annoying me now is the standby LED, is supposed to be yellow/green when its on and red when its in standby, but it just stays red all the time, i change the wiring around for the led into the main board and the yellow light just stayed on all teh time and it kept channel stepping. does anyone know how to sort get the LED operating like normal again as its really annoying me.

also after a few hours of operation(2 hours or so) it shuts down and imediatly starts up again, any ideas on whats causing this?

check the flyback tuning capacitors for bad solder joints and change the crt plastic base as they used to spark intermittently on this model causing random shutdown.

thanks, i'll do that, any idea's on why the LED isn't working right?
