Ascent, is that a brand name? Never heard of it, Im guessing you are a repair shop, if by chance that is an actual brand name I would get the user manual from the owner and see if there is a support number you could call, perhaps they can direct you to where you can get parts.
Im still guessing that if that is an actual brand that it is one of those cheap-o's that was made never to be fixed and was sold under warranty to be either fixed or replaced only by the manufacturer with in 2 or 3 years. If the owner didn't buy the extended warranty....Oh'Well!
