What kind of problems do you have, and are you a TECH?

Am I a TECH - in Televisions No - Computers Yes.
I would like to think that I know what I am doing and aware of the pitfalls in messing with eprom settings. I recently had someone in to rectify a fault on the TV and in my absence he did not reset the service menu settings such as picture (Panorama, cinema, zoom etc). These settings will not go to default in the TV menu. The TV guy re-soldered the joints on the PCB having, in his words, found several suspect joints, the TV is now working but I need to make final adjustments to put the TV back to where it was.

Depending on the chassis either hold down ch+ and vol- on the front of the tv(outer two buttons) and switch on OR switch tv to standby then switch off with o/o switch.when red light has dissappeared hold the blue button down on the remote and switch tv on.the service menu should appear

Only one button on the centre of the TV. Blue button syndrome does not work. Thanks anyway.

PS.... I did disconnect the scart leads first.
