Hitachi 57SWX20B Problem Can't Post
When I turn on my tv, there's no picture. I hear the powersupply kick on in the back of the TV but there's no Pic. It's just hooked up to power in the garage so If I need to hook it up inside to cable to see if the sound works, then I can do so. Is this a capacitor, bulb, projector? Any help would be appreciated I want to fix it myself I can do most things needed, including solder so any suggestions or troubeshooting would be great!!

It seems as though you expect a pic without antenna?- otherwise would you hook it to cable?. NOB(nasty OLD Bassid).Mad

I don't get menus either when I used the menu buttons on the TV itself. It doesn't seem like the lamp is powering up at all. I've done a bit more research and, could this be a bad capacitor somewhere? I just want to get this damn thing working.

I am pretty sure that if you were to drop the set into jts he may possibly be able to fix it- one way or the other- why not- what have you got to lose?.Smile
