I have a Humax LGB 19DTT tv which has been really good. A while ago we had a lightning strike close by and much kit in the house was damaged. However the Humax sort of survived and still functions well as a TV. However on all the other inputs, the picture is red rather than full colour.
Looking inside the TV I note there are two PCBs which could be the culprit. One holds the external inputs, AV, VGA, HDMI etc and the other only the scart socket. My problem is which of the two boards is likely to have the problem? Had all the inputs been on a single board I would have simply swapped it for another; but I cannot fathom if the signal goes from the Scart board to the other board or if it is the other way around? I don't want to buy two boards just to be sure. So which one should be replaced?
