Hello guys, can anybody provide me the datasheet for LA7676 and TA8782N, first one is NTSC TV IC and second one is AKB circuit.

Thanks

waqar;.....

Go here & download all the datasheets you need for FREE;=>....
LA7676 is there , but the TA8782N isn't...
Try Googling the TA IC with & without the "N"........

Hello Ron,
Thanks for your prompt reply
For LA7676 this is not a datasheet it is just a notification from Sanyo semiconductors which lists their discontinued products, unfortunately no equalient is given against LA7676, For TA8782N yes I have searched the web throughout the week before posting to this forum, no luck...Frown

Should have downloaded that puny little file & checked it out before I boldly put it in my post....
SORRY about that....Unsure....

I searched the web for a LA7676 datasheet & had NO luck with that one either....
Google listed a LOT of websites that supposedly had a pdf for it , but when you go there , no datasheet to be found....
What is happening to Google ???
I did find one listing for LA7676 that when I clicked on the download for it under the 1st page pix (Near top left side) gave me the datasheet for LA7674 instead....
Here;=>...
http://www.utsource.net/.../LA7676-1344517.html

They may be interchangeable , "may"....
Check & see how close this one is to your IC....

What brand TV , how old & what is your problem with it ???

GOOD LUCK....Sly.....

Hello Ron,

Thanks for your reply Ron, No worries on false datasheet i have downloaded sheets from dozens of sites claming they have the sheet, but at the end of the day they want to sell what they have.

Yes i do have datasheet for LA7674 and for now i am taking reference from it, also I have datasheet for TA8751AN which is somewhat similar to TA8782N.

Its from Doshisha corporation and the front logo says Orion 6CW2, by searching on the web i find out that its schematic is not available, however i found a similar set schematic which is name as Emerson, the set I have has 6 inch colour CRT and its only support NTSC.

Going straight to describe the problem, the screen is turned into light yellow color, also there are horizontal diagonal lines on it, osd working fine, sometimes the selected channel comes then disappear suddenly as a flash the picture becomes dim and then back to light yellow diagonal lines.

What a collection of misfits we have here....
Between the difficulty of trying to locate datasheets for 2 ICs that seemingly do not exist , we now have a REALLY oddball TV that apparently has NO info on it either...
Was this TV hand made by Thomas A Edison in his garage ???
Emerson TVs were previously known as Emer"junk" TVs...
Orion is not much better....
With the problems you have & the lack of info on it & the parts it has , is it really worth fixing ???...
IMHO , NO....
The light yellow screen indicates a problem with the blue...
The diagonal lines may be related to that....
The channel problem may be a tuner problem or one of the ICs you were looking for...

That's a LOT of problems for a 6" way , way off brand TV....
My best advice would be to park it at the curb & let someone "steal" it...

SORRY about the bad news , but , so it goes....Unsure.....

GOOD LUCK.....Sly....

I figured out that it has to do something with its vertical amplifier, the vertical amps pump up output is going to the AKB timing circuit, not pretty sure why but its for blinking timing i think, My last resort is to change its vertical amp to see if it works, if not then I will surely do as you advised.
