Howdy all...My JVC TU-42WV74 is showing what you see below. When the image to be displayed is midtones to shadow, the picture is wonderful. When the image is mostly white, such as on the end of those apple commercials (all white screen with the logo in the middle) the defect shows. I have the service manual, entered the self diagnosis mode, and found the following codes: XRAY OK OCP OK LOB OK TIM OK SYNC M:OK S:OK HD:NG MEM OK AVSW OK VCD:NG9 AIO OK YC OK TUN OK GCR OK PP OK IP OK HDMI NG9 How I read this is that VCD ng:9 is my issue. (Video Chroma) Yah? The service manual refers to "IC301", and I trace that back to the display interface board. does this seem to be a logical connection? Thank you tons...
