KP53HS30 Help	Can't Post

Hey all, new to the forum but I registered because I'm in need of some serious help. You may have guessed that I own a Sony KP53HS30 Rear Projection TV and it is malfunctioning. I was watching TV one day when a few seconds after I turned it on, the picture became distorted - it looks as if a black hole has taken effect in the center and the picture is being sucked into the center. Also, when I go to the menu, it appears that is casting a duplicated image of itself behind it. I'm sorry if I am not being quite descriptive with my issue but I would be glad to get any help with the issue. Here is a link to a page with my TV's specs

Strange that you mention that syed 42- strangely, I had no inkling!! Whatsoever!!- but no doubt others may have the full story- received thru esp no doubt- or just the fact that you have the ONLY set in the universe- AND no one else exists!. Try roborr- or whatsis name(how quick we forget!). Angelic

Can you post a picture? Otherwise a couple of these have "screen shots." Maybe is similar?

Hey I took a picture of the TV.. the condition has worsened from a distortion of an actual image to complete crappiness. You'll notice that the VIDEO 5 Label has been warped into slantiness. I was trying to describe this earlier

HEY- syed 42- there is nothing you can do to fix that set- but a tv technician would give you a quote- if not happy take to another(are any left?). You see optimist you the fault could be anything- impossible to diagnose from a picture.
