KV24FS100 Can't Post

Hi there,

I have Sony TV, model KV24FS100. the problem is, no video and audio but power led indicator is blinking twice and an interval of 5 seconds before it blinks again twice.

I 've replaced the IC600 (MCZ3001D), IC1751 (TDA6108JF) which I suspected that gives trouble but no inprovement at all.

Is anybody can help me analyze the problem.

Thanks a lot and appreciate your help.

The two blinks indicates a short in the power supply. It could be any number of components.

Hi mel,

I still having problem to isolate the trouble which you told me to find a shorted component in the power supply..Last night, I took off the jumper wire that connects the emitter to ground of the Horzontal Output Transistor Q505 (2SD2634) just to check if the Flyback Transformer is the one giving problem, then I put it back again but when I turned on the power it shows a 10 times blink on the power indicator light then after the 10 blinks the relay clicks and it shows 2 times blink every 5 seconds interval..Do you know what does 10 times blink indicates for?

Thanks,

Vine

10 blinks is not listed in the diagnostic codes. The two blinks is what you should be concerned with. The HOT is not the primary power supply where the problem probably lies. You can go the www.samswebsite.com and download the Efact 4805 for this model which will give you the info on the primary power supply or your local library probably carries the SAMS Photofacts.
