LCD interchange question Can't Post

I have 2 32" LCD TVs that have bad motherboards. The screens are perfect and my question is: Are TV LCD panels interchangeable between brands like laptop screens? Say I got a Sony or Philips with a broken screen, would I be able to put the screen fron one of my broken TVs if the numbers matched?

They would have to be absolutely identical. LCD panels are made in different factories around the world, the firmware needed to run them varies. LCD TV's, even the same model are the same way. You can have 2,3 or 4 Philips LCD TV's that are the same model but were made in different factories. Very often the LCD panels may seem to be the same but in reality they aren't interchangable.

Good luck.
