I have this lg 37lh200c that won't turn on the power light on the bottom right just blinks red.....any ideas??? Thanks.

I don't know the model at all, but a good first step is always to unplug it, leave it for ten minutes or so, then plug it back in.

Any TV with such a symptom is called on stby power. possible causes are many, precisely that the there is no horiziontal oscillation to the FBT. Trace the line to it and check the solder or the parts involed.

that would be very tricky as this is an LCD tv. it's probably a power supply fault usually electrolytic capacitors open circuit

I have a similar problem with a 42lc7d, it has a stby power loss. The red led does not come on at all and it needs to be unplugged several times before it re-engages. The problem is the main logic control board but I'm trying to find the particular component that is causing this. The reset device might be the culprit . I have several boards that I'm trying to repair for this problem to resell them.
