LOST TERRESTRIAL CHANNELS

On my Goodmans 32" tv I receive all my tv through Sky box. Before change over, if Sky went down, I would still receive the 5 terrestrial channels , but now when I turn Sky off and simulate a breakdown ,I receive nothing.I am using a Sky dish and also the original terrestrial aerial, should this be changed to HD
