Lg43uf680v picture problem

Hi all.
I have a lg43uf680v TV problem, the picture went off but I can still hear sound, also the menu screen was working, the picture is like repetitive coloured diagonal lines across the screen, I've tried looking up on the net about it and I've came up with the conclusion it is the main board, however I don't want to purchase one if that's not the reason because I've heard it could be other issues too - like back lights , dust inside etc etc.
I have updated my profile picture/avatar to show my TV screen and I've also put a link to my YouTube video about the problem on my about page
I would be grateful for any help on this
